My Story

Your Local Window Covering Consultant  Sylvan Lake, Red Deer & Central Alberta

Hi, I’m Amanda!

I’m excited to bring my passion for beautiful, functional spaces to Sylvan Lake and the surrounding area as a window coverings consultant with Divine Blinds.

Although I’m new to the window coverings industry, I bring a strong foundation of hands-on experience, creativity, attention to detail, and a genuine enjoyment of helping people create spaces they love.

My background includes working as a cabinet maker’s assistant, a safety officer in the oilfield, and time at Gienow Windows in Calgary, where I worked in the window factory building shipping crates for windows. These roles taught me the value of quality workmanship, precision, safety, and taking pride in every detail.

My creative training began with the Costume Cutting and Construction program at Red Deer College, which led to work in film and theatre in wigs, makeup, and costume. That experience strengthened my appreciation for how thoughtful details can completely transform a space—or a look.

More recently, I graduated with honours in Holistic Nutrition, reflecting my continued passion for working with people and helping them find solutions that fit their individual needs and lifestyle.

I believe choosing window coverings should feel simple and enjoyable, not overwhelming. My goal is to listen carefully, guide you through your options, and help you find solutions that suit both your home and your style.

I’m proud to be working alongside Jenny at Divine Blinds and look forward to bringing a personal, caring approach to clients throughout Sylvan Lake and the surrounding communities.

I’d love to help you find window coverings that make your home feel even more like your own.
